MODEL PDX-40
Point-Of-Use Conditioner Unit for Jumbo (Class D) Aircraft Gates
Self Contained Air-Cooled Unit for Bridge or Apron Mounting, Dual Outputs

PDX40 The Series PDX40 air conditioner is a complete, self-contained unit to supply the demanding air pressures, volume, and low-temperature air for effective cooling (and heating) of all commercial aircraft.

This unit has dual outputs to accommodate the full range of commercial aircraft from commuters up to B747 & B777 aircraft. In the ‘low’ range, narrow and wide-body aircraft are served via a single delivery hose. The unit runs in ‘high’ range to serve jumbo aircraft via 2 delivery hoses.

This lightweight unit contains up to 6 stages of compressors with attendant condenser, evaporator, and control sections as needed for a particular set of environmental conditions. These units are for 60Hz operation. See Series PDX40I for 50Hz applications.

A microprocessor controller provides modulation of air flow & temperature as required for varying aircraft types and ambient conditions.

The unit is specifically designed for mounting under a passenger boarding bridge or alternately, on an apron mounting stand.

Local climate conditions significantly impact output performance. Please contact the factory for the most appropriate configuration for your application.

See other ratings for other aircraft types and applications: PDX15, PDX25, and PDX50.

IMPORTANT NOTE
The application data shown on this data sheet depicts a basic unit for standard design ambient conditions with the most common outlet air delivery configurations. Other performance models may be selected by the factory to optimize operating conditions for a given aircraft mix, climate, altitude, and installation factors. It is suggested that this data be used as an initial guide only, pending analysis of full system operating requirements by INET application engineering staff.
