INET’s Model ASC52 gate service cabinet is designed for use with the company’s centralized 400Hz ground power systems that use a distribution voltage of 575V. (Other models are available for 200V, 960V, and 2400V distribution).

Each unit includes a continuously-rated step-down transformer to 200/ 115V, optional line drop compen-sator (LDC), and two independent sets of 90Kva outputs. Each output has a contactor, E & F interlock, and a full protection / alarm circuit.

Units are available in continuous ratings of 120Kva, 140Kva, and 150Kva, as used in labs, test stands, and for certain military applications.

For commercial aircraft gate use, these units can support aircraft with ratings of 150Kva and 180Kva, making them suitable for the largest jumbo aircraft including B747-400, B777, and the new Airbus A380.

No-Break Power Transfer (NBPT) features on modern aircraft are fully supported and tested at Boeing plants. A local RS232 port provides for digital adjustment and status monitoring. Historic performance data storage and RS485 remote monitoring is also available.
